Also, I’m sad to not be in europe anymore, but that’s beside the point.

I really wish I payed closer attention to videography when I was choosing my DSLR. I love my plucky little D1100 that I have named Chance, but it lacks manual exposure for video recording. The only things I can control in video mode is the aperture, if I use one of my old Pentax lenses (analog aperture control), and ISO, of which I only have two extremely noisy options.

It’s like having an oven that can only heat up to 350 degrees. It works well enough for most circumstances, but if you’re trying to do anything professionally then you need a new oven.
